2006-07-31 [Nuit Darksin]: we need a police class

2006-07-31 [Xeroh Kanoe]: Police huh...mabey...

2006-07-31 [Nuit Darksin]: sweet

2006-07-31 [Jeed]: i dont think the police class would be a good idea. the laws, and protocols, are different everywhere and it would be useless to just make a general police class

2006-07-31 [Nuit Darksin]: well true

2006-08-01 [Xeroh Kanoe]: Good point.

2006-08-22 [cjhill89]: I am curious on how to join the facalty here and help teach and or toutor.

2006-08-22 [Jeed]: if you'de liek to teach, please find a subject that needs teaching and, using the classroom template provided on the BoG page, create your classroom, then submite it for review by the BoG and we'll go from there

2006-08-28 [mattpoi]: is there any chance there could be a section for the circus/performing arts set up, id be willing to teach contact juggling, unicycle, juggling, staff and poi to intermediate levels, also im not sure if staff and poi should be put under martial arts, as there are both offensive and fire adaptations to both, just clarifying what i should apply for before i put a request in

2006-08-28 [Melocrie]: Yeah a poi academy would be cool! I'm really dying to learn that lol. A friend of mine has his own group named Lughtopia, and he's a daredevil with fire!

2006-08-28 [mattpoi]: not sure what to put it under though, any sugestions?

2006-08-28 [Melocrie]: How about "Circus Sports"? Though that gives you more like a clown idea... maybe "The Art of Twirling?" nah... i dunno...

2006-08-29 [mattpoi]: how about street performance art??
ive seen a fair few people with poi aqnd staff and unicycle and juggling are obviously used

2006-08-29 [Melocrie]: Yeah that's much better! "Street Entertainments" or something...

2006-09-26 [Imperator]: There needs to be a "Fantasy History" department to get some of these fantasy classrooms out of the History Department. History of the Drow does not belong beside History of Australia!

2006-09-26 [Jeed]: thats very true, [Sunrose] will no doubt see this, and she can take care of it.

2006-09-26 [Sunrose]: Why? The department of History can just gather two categories of history.

2006-09-26 [Nuit Darksin]: Guys histories history fake or not. History of Drow is in the history department get over it.

2006-09-26 [Jeed]: but wouldnt it be a sound idea to make another department for fantasy history? and add more to it, seeing this is a fantasy community and all.

2006-09-26 [Nuit Darksin]: not really like I said histroies history fake or not. I mean you can present the idea to the council or whoever. And see what they say. I'm pretty sure they'll say the samething.

2006-09-26 [Sunrose]: I don't see a reason to create another department that attends to the same topic in general. We make separate departments for subjects that can't be put anywhere else. The name 'History' doesn't exclude fantasyhistory, it includes it.
The dividing of fantasy and reality history can be done in the department itself.

2006-09-26 [Nuit Darksin]: thank you sunrose that's what I have been saying. ^^

2006-09-27 [Imperator]: Its just logical for practical reasons because if someone is trying to do some History project they would rather not have to sort out what is Fantasy and what is real. Besides, like [Jeed] said, Elftown IS based on fantasy so it might as well be seperate from real history. And since plain ol' "history" does include fantasy, maybe "history" should be disolved and two new departments set up with the names "Fantasy History" and "World Histories" or something like that.

2006-09-27 [Nuit Darksin]: yeah that's why if you ever bother to take the time to look in the history department you'll notice that each history subject has it's own link with the correct inforamtion with that history. DEE DEE DEE!

2006-09-27 [Imperator]: Well no duh! But I didn't even know what the "drow" was before I went to the wiki and before I went to the wiki I guessed it must be some cult in England or something! I didn't expect to find some fairy creatures in the HISTORY department! DEE DEE DEE!!!!

2006-09-28 [Nuit Darksin]: well now you know. So let's just leave it at that. :D

2006-09-28 [Jeed]: please lets keep the quibbling to a minimum

2006-09-28 [Nuit Darksin]: yeah yeah we stopped

2006-09-30 [Imperator]: Like I said, elftown is based on fantasy so it would be right to give it its own department and keep it seperate from the real stuff. It would make both departments a lot more orderly!

2006-09-30 [Sunrose]: As I said before, this should be taken care of in the department. We're not going to create a separate department for this.

2006-10-01 [True, plain and simple]: She means that the history department is responsible for deciding whether or not it wants to divide fantasy-history and general history internally (within its own wiki-page), and that the separation of the two will only occur at that level.

2006-10-02 [Sunrose]: Yes :)

2006-10-10 [mattpoi]: ok guys i finally got some stuff on that performance arts section, submitted it too so check it out

2007-04-21 [Fingon]: I think that history is one thing and fantasy another so I think we should devide this things!!

2007-04-21 [Fingon]: As you can see Fantasy History has been separated from, but is working under the department of History. For any questions you can ask me [Fingon].

2007-06-03 [xKILLxSMILEx]: Can you be a student?

2007-06-03 [Sunrose]: Yes :)

2007-06-18 [Dark Side of the Moon]: [Sunrose], do the news links not work in your ET house? I tried to put it in mine but it links to unknown news. oO

2007-06-18 [Sunrose]: You have to write <news:407>, not the news title: Elftown does that for you ;)

2007-06-18 [Dark Side of the Moon]: ahhhhh.... thank you! :)

2007-06-18 [Sunrose]: You're welcome ^^'

2007-06-19 [Ilana]: I haven't really been paying attention to the Elftown Academy lately, but I have a quick question. How come you had the ET Academy drawing contest if you aren't going to use the winner as the actual illustration for the main page? Not that it's terribly important or anything...

2007-06-19 [Mordigen]: I remember that the image use to change at random, everytime you opened the page, giving every artist/illustration an equal opportunity.......but as of late, I have not seen it change at all, I don't know if it is a glitch, or if my previous statement was just a fluke and someone was trying to decide on the best image....but I think they were simply trying to give everyone a chance to be seen, not that they were trying to ignore to contest results

2007-06-19 [Linderel]: [Mordigen], I think you're confusing the Elftown frontpage with this, now. :P

2007-06-19 [Mordigen]: no, I swear it changed! I'm not imagining things, I promise --- like I said, it coulda just been some sort of weird fluke thing with my broweser being posessed....but I swear, for about 2 months after the contest ended, it would change every time you came to the wiki page.....and then it just, stuck to this image

2007-06-19 [Linderel]: *blink* Weird.

2007-06-19 [Sunrose]: Currently your drawing is used on ETA Classes, [Ilana]. I just thought a little colour on the main wiki would cheer it up a bit :)  I can put it back here though if you want, it did win first place and it is a really good image too :D

[Linderel]: That is weird indeed, I only changed the image once :/

2007-06-19 [Imperator]: Question: Should we change our green divider bars in classrooms to the new color of divider bar or does it not really matter?

2007-06-19 [Sunrose]: It's not a matter of life and death, but the new divider is the one that will from now on be used for the Academy.
It might be though that one of the BoG comes along and changes the divider, if you haven't done so already. We're planning on doing a bit of classroom clean up.
If your classroom already looks very clean though, I don't think they will bother for the divider alone :)
I guess I don't have a too clear answer on that :P

2007-06-19 [Imperator]: Well you did spell it out quite nicely anyway so thanks. :-)

2007-06-19 [Sunrose]: *^_^*

2007-06-20 [Isilando]: \(^_^)/

2007-06-20 [Fingon]: What happend to my badge am I going to get it back?:)

2007-06-20 [Linderel]: [Fingon]: Perhaps you should read the news. ;)

2007-06-20 [Ilana]: I guess I don't mind. As long as my image is used somewhere! :)

2007-06-20 [Sunrose]: It is, it is! ^_^

2007-10-17 [Triola]: Oooh, what an impressive image! >.> Man that one almost killed me, MS Paint ftw! :P

2007-10-17 [Sunrose]: Heh :P

2007-11-01 [babycheechee]: l have a question for you guy how do you join this wiki and can ljoin this wiki please

2007-11-22 [Imperator]: These "ETA dividers" only come in one size, we need a small one also like the old green dividers.

2007-11-23 [Sunrose]: <img:stuff/ETA_divider_small.jpg> -- By [True, plain and simple] :)

2007-11-24 [Imperator]: Yay! Thanks! :-)

2007-12-01 [sunabozu]: hello cna i join

2007-12-01 [Imperator]: Anyone can join as a student, just look through ETA Classes for anything that interests you. :-)

2007-12-20 [Imperator]: [Sunrose], can we add some requirements onto the Apply to the Academy page?

1. Classrooms can NOT be password protected.
2. Classrooms must be "freely editable".
3. All classrooms must link back to their departments, indeed to the CORRECT department...

Also the pages Game Development, Celtic Languages, Mineralogy, Paleontology, and Plate Tectonics class are password protected. If you would... :p

And is there a reason why the Ancient Greek Classroom page doesn't have an "edit" button?

2007-12-20 [Linderel]: The owner of that last classroom has made it editable by owner only.

2007-12-20 [Imperator]: Oh, I should have known that. :-)

2007-12-20 [Sunrose]: You don't need rule 1 if you already have rule 2 ;)
It should be sufficient to tell them to link back to the department the class falls under. If they then still link to the wrong one, I doubt anything we'd say would've helped :P

Pages fixed :)

2007-12-20 [Imperator]: lol, good point. :p

Would you like me to do that?

Thanks!

2007-12-20 [Sunrose]: I already added some lines to the apply-wiki :)
The classroom template itself already had 'department' mentioned at the bottom..

2007-12-21 [Imperator]: Good, dealing with these issues is becoming rather irritating... >:-(

2007-12-21 [Sunrose]: Now you know :P

2007-12-21 [Imperator]: lol, yet I still enjoy doing it. Fixing classrooms is actually very satisfying work.

2007-12-21 [Mordigen]: hooo hoooo, wait, hold on there just a sec....can I add in 2 cents? ok, well, i'm going to anyhow, so deal with it :P lol

I do not think adding in the new rules 1 and/or 2 are a good thing, at all. I think people should be given to the right to protect their classrooms and there work -- especially when I know of a lot of people aorund who'd be willing ot mess with pages just for spite, and I know that I work hard on my class, even if I dont update all that often, I take note regularly, all the time in my spare time, and then when I have enough to add in a new update, I put them together, rewrite it and update -- that is a lot of work to be done, and a lot of time dedicated to it that I know I would be irritated to find out that later it got messed up by someone who may be new and confused, or just some trouble maker.

howsabout something like - you can put a password on your classrooms, but you must turn in the password to the BoG for the record? That way people can protect their work, but if they go MIA, the password is on record to avoid complications in changing/updating the page for someone new...

2007-12-21 [Imperator]: If the page gets messed up you can just view the previous version and fix it. Additionally, I have never heard of or experienced anyone deliberately damaging a wiki page.

2007-12-21 [Firenze]: I have seen and experienced peoples wiki pages being damaged and have restored them in the past so it does happen but on a rare basis. But I agree with [Mordigen] I think that owners should have the right to protect their work but as long as is in the classroom template and has been approved of ^_^

I also think the idea of having a list of passwords for each classroom is a good idea ^_^ Will save a lot of time when it comes to editing pages if needed.

2007-12-21 [Imperator]: I suppose a password list that is submitted to the BoG could work. There can only be one password though, otherwise there will have to be a big password-classroom list that no one will want to maintain. But to start with, has any page in the Academy ever been vandalized?

2007-12-21 [Sunrose]: The beauty of wiki-pages is that they are easily restored. If someone thought to destroy it, all they really did is expose themselves as assholes who can be taken care of by the Guards.
Personally I vote against lists of any kind, because they always require maintenance. If there is only one password for the entire Academy, I don't think it's going to take long for everyone to know about it.

When people sign up to the Academy now, they need to read the rules. If they don't agree to it, they can choose to not participate. Not adding a password to the wiki isn't going to change the ownership of the wiki and its content, and the fact that they can be restored.
The bigger problem is that people create passworded classrooms and then leave them to rot :/

2007-12-22 [Mordigen]: I suppose they are easily restored, but it was a thought.
How about the people who were here before the rule changes?
I know of a few pages that have passwords on them.....
or like, my page....would we have to removed passwords if we had them there before the rule change?

because, to be completely honest, i just really don't want to remove my password
Hate to sound like I'm being so difficult, but I'm just really a huge fan of the passwords lmao

Is there anyway to *easily* find a middle ground?
Like -- is there any way to bypass the passwords....
I don't know where I'm going with this really, I know that certain people on ET like certain guards and council members and such can remove or change passwords if need be -- but I also know that can be a lot of work or a pain in the ass to do, but I was thinking something along the lines of forum members --- is that possible?
Like I said, i don't know where I'm going with this, or if I'm making any sense
just trying to see if theres an easily accomplishable middle ground

2007-12-29 [Imperator]: I don't think having passwords for the entire academy will work. I guess we can just say that classrooms may be protected if they are maintained, otherwise the passwords will be removed and the page repaired. It could be a sort of warning label I suppose.

[Sunrose], can I go through and synchronize all the teacher lists on the departments to the classrooms or vice versa and remove inactive teachers from both pages?

2007-12-29 [Sunrose]: It depends, some teachers should remain credited for their contributions...

2007-12-29 [Imperator]: How about I remove any inactive teachers but mention them at the bottom of the classroom page?

2007-12-30 [Sunrose]: Cool :)

2007-12-30 [Imperator]: Yeah, I thought I could convince you to let me do work. :p

2007-12-30 [Imperator]: Ok, I have finished removing inactive teachers but crediting them at the bottom of their classrooms and putting question marks next to classes without teachers on the department pages.

2007-12-31 [Sunrose]: Great work! *^__^*

2007-12-31 [Imperator]: Yay! Let's just hope the professors will take care to maintain their departments now...

2008-01-05 [Imperator]: How would everyone feel about creating a Fantasy department that would consolidate anything fantasy related that is currently sprinkled around other departments?

2008-01-05 [Sunrose]: It depends. Are you going to remove all those things from the other departments and put them in the Fantasy department?
Because I'm against adding classes to two departments. If we start doing that it means that if a class needs removed, you have to start checking all departments in case it was mentioned twice :/
It would make maintenance even more work..

2008-01-05 [Imperator]: Yeah, I was thinking that we would remove all fantasy classrooms from the other departments and put them in a new Fantasy department. There's one classroom in the history department, two in the mythology department, and two in the language department that could go in it.

2008-01-05 [Sunrose]: It depends where it would be more logical to find them I suppose..
Which all are they?

2008-01-06 [Imperator]:
History of the Drow
Quenya Classroom
Sindarin Classroom
Goetia Deamons Classroom
Legends of Hyrule Classroom

I also found that contest for writing descriptions of fantasy creatures and those descriptions would make another good classroom.

2008-01-06 [windowframe]: Why do you class the Goetia as a "fantasy" class? I'm not sure myself that it belongs in mythology, but I'm even more certain that it definitely doesn't belong in fantasy. That's like putting "Saints of the Bible class" in fantasy. :/

Actually, thinking about it - it might just be better to delete all links to the classroom, rather than try to re-categorise it. All of the information that's on the page can be found in the Goetia itself, along with more info.

2008-01-06 [Imperator]: The truth is I don't know what "Goetia" is. I just assumed it was someone's creative invention.

2008-01-06 [Skydancer]: The Goetia is a Kabbalistic / hebrew / historical gnostic document from the philosophy of magic practiced by such groups as the Golden Dawn etc. Its a demonic / angelic manipulation system based on the control and binding of demons and angels in a particular slice of religious belief.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goetia

2008-01-06 [Imperator]: That link really cleared things up. Now I'm not so sure the class should even exist; I agree with [windowframe] because it doesn't even tell you what "Goetia" is.

But as to the main point, would it be fine if those other classes were moved to a new fantasy department page?

2008-01-06 [Sunrose]: Meh, we'd be creating a department for 4 classrooms that already have a department. It's not absolutely necessary..
And I'd sooner look for a language among languages, even if it's a fantasy language.

2008-01-06 [Imperator]: Mmm. Fair enough.

2008-01-07 [Mordigen]: i agree -- even though the quenya and sindarin are made up, I, as well as most tolkien fans, completey consider them a valid language, and when the thought first crosses your head, you'd be more apt to look for them under "languages" rather than fantasy

2008-01-16 [Sunrose]: center doesn't work if you put an enter between it, you have to open and close both lines with the tag :)

2008-01-16 [Imperator]: Yeah, I made the changes then saw the messed up picture but you were fixing it before I could even try. :p

2008-01-16 [Sunrose]: Speedy Gonzalesss :P

2008-01-18 [Imperator]: There: the new, evil page is gone and I have done a bit of editing on the Apply to the Academy page. Is sunny feeling all sunny now? :-)

2008-01-21 [Duke Devlin]: 2008-01-16 Sunrose: center doesn't work if you put an enter between it, you have to open and close both lines with the tag :)
Centre works if you put a space on the empty lines, after pressing enter. :)

2008-01-22 [Imperator]: Really? Cool! I'll use that trick.

2008-01-22 [Duke Devlin]: :D Yep! I was so excited when I found that out, a friend told me! :D XD Sadly a little too excited. XP

2008-01-22 [Imperator]: lol! Looks like it. :P

2008-01-24 [Mortified Penguin]: ...Uh huh... *eats ramen*...

2008-01-24 [Duke Devlin]: ... You are everywhere Mort. XD

2008-01-24 [Imperator]: That might be true but it's not hard to get right "here". :D

2008-01-24 [Duke Devlin]: ... True.. XD

2008-01-24 [Imperator]: Hmmmmm. Since you have time to linger here, perhaps I should force you to teach a classroom and take on loads of work....

2008-01-24 [Mortified Penguin]: Loads of work?! ...*dives out the window*...

2008-01-24 [Duke Devlin]: ... Haha! Unlikely! I have my own work to be doing! *runs away*

2008-01-24 [Imperator]: Muwahahaha! <img:44166_1164557382.gif>

2008-01-24 [Duke Devlin]: .... *Dukey has left the building, please notify the authorities*
XP

2008-04-27 [Mordigen]: who are you talking to? or are you just spamming? eewww. spamming is nasty.........and this is SO not the place for it.....

2008-04-28 [Duke Devlin]: Wow you should give up Alexander2war.. Spamming is not cool.

2008-04-28 [Imperator]: Fine Fine! All gone now.

2008-04-28 [Duke Devlin]: Goooood. =]

2008-04-28 [Mordigen]: Alex - if you really want to help out certain ET pages you feel passionate about - make up a campaign for them and help advertise in the Advertising Forum, the Wiki Forum or on *appropriate* advertising /classified wiki pages designed just for those reasons -- there are a TON of them around here, ya just gotta find the right one :)

2008-04-28 [Imperator]: Advertising wiki pages? I've never heard of any such thing.

2008-04-29 [Jeed]: yea spamming is bad, especially when you help run the place. mordigen is right in reccommending advertising in the right places, i concur with silverfire on featured wiki page.

2008-04-29 [Mortified Penguin]: All 100 and something members of Bob's Diner came from Turkey and my illegal spamming... advertising on places designed for advertising will never do you any good. The only people that go to advertising wikis are those who are seeking to advertise and not necessarily invest their time in someone else's wiki. To find people willing to waste their lives on your wiki, you must seek out populated wikis (like official elftown wikis) and spam as much as you can. This has been a public service announcement from Mortified Penguin. Warning: Any banning caused by following this guideline is not blamable on Mort. Spam at your own risk.

2008-04-29 [Duke Devlin]: Wow.. Now that is some impressive bull****. Okay, so it is logical, but generally Mort, spamming is just annoying.. Perhaps you could try attracting members though casual plugging - different to spamming in my eyes, if it is relevant to the topic at hand - to members of ET in conversation? ;) I can't even remember now how I appeared at BD.

2008-04-29 [Mortified Penguin]: Casual plugging works as well. Notice how I made sure to make Bob's Diner a link while talking about it earlier... as well as now! But can you really blame me? I mean... it has great food and is open 24/7!

2008-04-29 [Duke Devlin]: Casual plugging is ultimately preferable to everyone, in my opinion anyway, simply because it at least makes you appear as though you care about what they are talking about. ;)
And yes, I do notice that everytime you mention BD, it is a link. ;) It is a great place, I must admit. XD Entertaining at least.

2008-04-29 [Mortified Penguin]: Now... by BD, I assume you mean BOB'S DINER... right?

2008-04-30 [Jeed]: lest try ot keep this page strictly to topics containing the academy please

2008-04-30 [Imperator]: I don't see what the big deal is anyway if no one even says anything and I leave one comment suggesting they should visit another volunteer based wiki like this one. And since both of you have time to keep jabbering, perhaps you should go take over a teacherless classroom, eh?

2008-04-30 [Mordigen]: Because Elftown has rules against spamming, not chatting

2008-04-30 [Imperator]: Like they said, as long as it is somewhat relevant, which my comment was, it hardly counts as spam. And if there are no rules against chatting, why is anything not ETA related shoveled off this page?

2008-04-30 [Mordigen]: 1 - they were not relevant at all, they were complete random and individual comments not partaking in any conversation that you just *happened* to mention them, and were not relevent to the academy. That is spam.
2 - there are no rules against chatting *snorts*
3 - the page owners of ANY wiki page can clean out or delete comments of anything they want to, whenever they want to
4 - You are making this so much more than it is, just let it go silly :P

2008-04-30 [Imperator]: I would say you are making this more than it is as their comments achieved the original goal of removing my spam. And then the conversation was resulting in spamming.

2008-05-01 [Jeed]: its just a vicious circle.......

2008-05-01 [Mordigen]: pphhhh *rolls eyes* whatever dude. you need to lighten up, chill out. Drink some tea, eat some chocolate, smoke...something, and be happy :P

2008-05-01 [Triola]: :O Mordigen! Condoning smoking on the page of a learning institution? :O :P

2008-05-01 [Imperator]: Listen, we've been over this so many times! I don't like tea! >:-(

2008-05-01 [windowframe]: There was a lecturer in the University of California doing a course on the Kabbalah who found a quote in the Zohar which he interpreted as saying it was forbidden to study Kabbalah without smoking pot. So he demanded his students smoke pot.

2008-05-01 [Duke Devlin]: Wow, now that is a weird lecturer. oO

2008-05-01 [Mortified Penguin]: You don't like tea? Them's fightin' words! *slaps Alexander*

2008-05-01 [Mortified Penguin]: I need to go study the kabbalah... *gets bong*...

2008-05-01 [Duke Devlin]: No one needs to study Kabbalah. Well, from what I remember about it.. It requires an awful lot of money. -____-
And tea is the best. <3

2008-05-01 [Mortified Penguin]: I only like it 'cause I'm Southern...

2008-05-01 [Duke Devlin]: Damn straight.. I only like it cause I am cliché British person. ;)

2008-05-01 [windowframe]: ? You don't need money to study Kabbalah. O.o

2008-05-02 [Mordigen]: hey hey hey hey, wait now. I never once mentioned "pot" or anything of the like --- I said smoke something *points at silver fire* She broke out the P word first :D
and Alex, yes, we've been over this many times --- you dont like tea, and your crazy because tea rocks.....and, btw, i never said like it, I said DRINK it XP

2008-05-02 [Mordigen]: oh yea, and just too add in my 2 cents on this interesting subject --- I've heard a lot of validity behind the Zohar quote. And then now at my hubby's work, the owners of the compony and all their children are very strict orthodox Jews, and are all complete and utter potheads - there are supposedly many teachings in the Torah and in the Kabbalah about it being used for spiritual wellness and God putting things here for our benefit and such. Very interesting stuff :)

2008-05-02 [windowframe]: I read an interesting article about whether Moses was 'high' when he saw the burning bush, from a Jewish scholar who claimed such methods were, an are, valid ways to aid in communication with God. (I believe he meant communication in specific moments, rather than as an over-all lifestyle), but I can't remember where I saw the article.

2008-05-03 [Mordigen]: I remember hearing many things about that too, not a whole article, but breifly mentioned in many of the bible shows on history channel and that one show that used to come on A&E all the time with the star trek guy narrating it.....i cant remember the name of the show now, i'm having a brain fart. But i've heard that mentioned many times before so that's got to have some legitimacy to it lol

2008-06-03 [Imperator]: Attention all members of the Elftown Academy, please note that the following departments are without a professor and any current teachers or other professors interested should drop an application by the Board of Governors at the Academy Applications page for approval to take charge of a department!

Fencing and Martial Studies, Languages, Life Science, Math, Musics, and Mythology.

2008-09-30 [Imperator]: Curse you all for ignoring my summons!

2008-10-01 [Jeed]: no one's ignored it, they just dont want the job.

2008-10-01 [Imperator]: Curse you all for not wanting jobs!

2008-10-04 [Ramirez]: Sooo... I can't seem to find this anywhere, but do you have to apply to be a student, or do you just sign up at the classes? And what if the classes I'm interested in are not active?

2008-10-04 [Imperator]: You just sign up to be a student and if the class has no active teachers you can still add your name anyway. :-)

2008-10-04 [Ramirez]: so, do I just read things and ask questions if I have any? Or is there like.. actually a lesson every month or so?

2008-10-04 [Imperator]: Most classes aren't updated monthly anymore. So yes, you just read and ask any questions you have. Hopefully a teacher will be active and can get back to you. :P

2008-10-04 [Ramirez]: Awesomeness. I'll look more into classes when I become unlazy.

2008-10-05 [Imperator]: :P

2008-10-28 [King John Dragon Slayer]: I wanna be a student! and then I, King John Dragon Slayer, will be the BEST TEACHER IN THE WORLD, homes. UNICORNS RULE!

2008-10-28 [King John Dragon Slayer]: Wait, do we have to be a student first and then be a teacher, or can we just become a teacher? for my kowledge is already limitless in medieval stuff and unicorns. What else can one learn? So can I just click somewhere and be a teacher? someoen tell me, pls.

2008-10-28 [Thunder Cid]: You must apply to be a teacher. See apply to the academy :P

2008-10-28 [Imperator]: Oooooooo! A history person! Check out the History department!

2008-11-29 [Jeed]: oooo, and **plug**

2008-11-30 [Imperator]: Please do. Everything here is running quite slowly... :-(

2009-01-10 [Susanisonfire]: What does everyone know about 2012 and FEMA Death Camps?

2009-01-11 [Imperator]: I have no idea what you're talking about so nothing at all... This seems to be something for the General Debate forum instead as the Academy doesn't have any political oriented classrooms. :-)

2009-01-16 [Mordigen]: It could be Academy Related - there could be a class on conspiracy theories and stuff of the like, so I don't see why it should be so quickly dismissed.

I've heard tons upon tons of things on 2012, I'm not sure about the FEMA deat camps though. But it sounds like something I could quickly believe in *snickers*

2009-04-08 [Alexi Ice]: The badges are cute!

2009-04-09 [Imperator]: Why yes, yes they are. ;D

2009-04-09 [Alexi Ice]: I want an owl badge! ^^

2009-04-09 [Thunder Cid]: Little owl or big owl?

2009-04-09 [Alexi Ice]: Either. Or both. The baby is the cutest

2009-04-09 [Thunder Cid]: Well you know the rules to get a professors position, the baby is just being a student, so go and sign up for classes.

2009-04-09 [Alexi Ice]: Whoa I dont know the rules ^^

2009-04-09 [Thunder Cid]: Apply to the Academy :P

2009-04-09 [Alexi Ice]: I will work on it, definatly.

2009-04-09 [Imperator]: Nah, he's talkin' about the page: Apply to the Academy. It even says up there next to the link "the rules." XD

2009-04-09 [Alexi Ice]: Oh...I was gonna create an application ^^

2009-04-10 [Imperator]: You do that when you create a classroom and want to submit it. :-)

2009-06-04 [lraina]: hmm guess my previous comment didnt stick....
this sounds interesting...I am a Secondary Social Studies major so I think it would be fun to teach a History class on here

2009-06-06 [Imperator]: Awesome! :D Did you take a look at the History department?

2009-06-12 [lraina]: yes I did =)it looks pretty good

2009-10-02 [Thunder Cid]: What class?

2009-10-02 [Eyden13]: Music History

2009-10-02 [Thunder Cid]: Okay you are going to need to do an application for us so we can decide on reassigning the classes to you.

You can find the application at Academy Applications

2010-04-01 [Chimes]: Do you happen to know the name of the pages? Or the name of the member who created them? That would help you to find them.

2010-04-01 [Jeed]: i believe you're looking for the dracology page. if you go to the link above called "ETA Classes", its there in the mythology section. Hope it helps, any questions, feel free to ask.
